The Gallop/ Skip Roll-Out Activities® is an all time favorite! Whether the kids skip the figure 8 pattern continuously, or choose to gallop moving from right to left lead, the figure 8 pattern will help kids attend visually to the task while performing these interrelated skills! Teachers can observe the natural flow of changing leads (right/left) as children gallop/move along the figure 8 pattern. Figure 8 designs are commonly used to promote midline crossing. Ask your kids to put their hands together making a pointer. Have them trace the pattern in the air BEFORE they take their turn. Add the challenge of standing on one foot while tracing the pattern with the other! Enter and exit have been added so kids can take 2-3 loops before exiting the mat and moving to the next station or going back in line with their group.

They can last several years, depending on how well they are maintained and stored, and amount of use. We are currently estimating 2-3 years minimum for typical use.
How should I clean and care for the Roll-Out Activities®?
They can be cleaned with mild soap and water using a light, gentle, circular motion. Please note that significant scuffs and stains may require scrubbing which may remove or smudge ink. Do not use abrasive cleaning tools or harsh cleaning chemicals. It is recommended that the cleaner you use be tested in a small corner area before using it on the whole game.
How are Roll-Out Activities® used?
They are simply unrolled and stay positioned on the floor in most applications, with no adhesive or tape. If they shift underfoot or are curled at the edges (which can happen if stored for a long time), you can stretch them out and place thick tape at the edges, like duct tape or other tape that will not damage your floor. It is recommended that the material on your floor be tested to ensure that slippery conditions are not present before use.
Can the Roll-Out Activites® be used outdoors?
They were designed for indoor use. They can be used outside, but the durability may be adversely affected.
