The Jump Roll-Out Activities® is great for jumping and learning to move your body away and towards midline while promoting an understanding of "In an Out" concepts for young children. Kids can choose to jump in/ out on the path or take giant jumps from spot to spot. This element promotes movements that can challenge ALL ability levels as well as work on basic yet important concepts of "in" and "out". Teachers can effectively observe the performance criteria for jumping to determine ability of their students. Jumping while moving your feet away (abduction) or jumping while moving the feet back toward midline (adduction) are great ways to promote motor skill development. Get creative and add alternating leaping (midline crossing) or a single or double hand touch (eye/hand (perceptual motor) coordination skill) on the solid color squares can make the JUMP a real game changer!
